Small on purpose
One person, sometimes two. Every decision has an author, and nothing ships that nobody understands.
Glas Labs makes small, careful apps for Apple platforms — the kind that do one thing honestly, then leave you alone.
Independent · Swift, end to end
Most software is designed to be used as much as possible. That's a strange goal for a tool. A good hammer isn't measured in daily active swings.
We build the other kind: things you open when you need them, that answer the question, and that don't ask for anything back.
How we work
One person, sometimes two. Every decision has an author, and nothing ships that nobody understands.
Swift on the client, Swift on the server, one shared model between them. A change to the contract breaks the build, not your evening.
An app can be done. We'd rather ship something complete and small than something perpetually in beta.

Plan it once. Post it everywhere.
A social media planner for creators and businesses. Draft posts, lay them out on a grid and a calendar, and Toggle publishes each one on time to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest and Bluesky.
iOS · in development
Parcel tracking that disagrees with the carrier.
Paloma pulls shipment status from UPS, FedEx, USPS and DHL, reads forwarded shipping emails for everything those APIs don't cover, and predicts a delivery date from how the scans are actually trending — rather than repeating the promise on the label.
Work with us
The same way we build our own: native, in Swift, end to end. We take on a small number of client projects a year, from a first idea to an app on the App Store, or an existing app that needs a steady hand.
iPhone & iPad
SwiftUI apps designed for the platform, from first sketch to App Store review.
Mac
Windows, menus, keyboard shortcuts and documents that behave the way the Mac does.
Vision Pro
Windows, volumes and spaces for an app that belongs on Apple Vision Pro.
Server
The API, sync and sign-in behind your app, sharing one model with the client.
System
Widgets, Siri and Shortcuts, Live Activities, Sign in with Apple and subscriptions.
Existing apps
Move to SwiftUI or Swift 6, fix what crashes, speed up what's slow, and keep shipping.
We talk through what you're building and write up a plan: what ships first, what waits, and how long it takes.
You get a TestFlight build every week, so you see progress on your own device rather than in a status report.
We take it through App Store review and hand over everything: the code, the accounts and how it all fits together.
Tell us what you're building, who it's for and when you'd like it out. We'll reply within a couple of days, including when it's not a fit.
